My loves.

I am so in love with my kiddos. They are two of the best things that ever happened to me. I love the interaction between the two of them. They truly love each other. I love how excited Hunter gets to see Layna each morning. I love how happy Layna is to make Hunter laugh or to take care of him. She loves to feed him, play peek a boo and loves to read to him. There are a few things that Layna doesn't like about her brother.....she gets so upset when he tries to knock over her piggy bank that's in her bookcase so she tried hiding it behind a book....that didn't work. She also hates it when Hunter knocks over the dog bowl, pulls the fireplace screen down and takes her toys. She just starts whining and says "No, Hunter boy." (Typical girl) Hunter is a crazy baby. He crawls everywhere, pulls himself up on everything, loves to stand, jump, walk holding onto my hands and loves to play with everything. I just LOVE this...they are interacting, playing, talking when they are in their cribs, laughing together and just are so much fun. I feel so blessed to have this life. Thank you God!

Layna Estelle

Layna Estelle was born June 14, 2008. As soon as she arrived we fell in love. She looked just like her daddy. We brought her home to meet our dog Dallas and they have been best friends ever since. 'Dallas' was her first word and she always was able to say it so well. Layna was such a great baby, she slept through the night at 6 weeks and has been ever since. Some things that stand out over the past two years include the way she started to crawl....she would put one leg straight out to her side and crawl using her arms and the other leg. We used to call her peg leg. Layna always loved water. She loves her pool and loves to swim with mommy. Her appetite is always thriving! She LOVES to eat and hums while she eats. The only thing she will not eat are vegetables, just like her dad. Layna is very social....tries to talk to everyone. She is also extremely independent, she wants what she wants and wants to do whatever mommy or daddy does. Layna started to walk at 15 months and she has not stopped since. At 4 she is strongwilled, sassy and funny. She is very vocal with what she wants and when she wants it. We are definitely in for it when shes older. She actually is a lot like her mommy! Layna loves to play with her brother, friends and her cousins. She is the little boss....telling everyone how things are done. She loves to swim and do gymnastics. Layna is the princess of our family.....and always will be.

Hunter Thomas

Hunter Thomas was born March 29, 2010. Suprisingly he was born on his due date and weighed in at 9lbs 4oz. Yes...over 9lbs! I knew he was big since he had something to do with my rib being out of place two weeks prior to his entrance into this world. Hunter is a spunky, ACTIVE toddler. He wants to do everything his sister does. Especially attend school with Layna. He is going to love preschool next year. Hunter wears his heart on his sleeve....you always know how he is feeling. He is very lovey and loves to cuddle yet he is a bull in a china shop. He doesnt know his own strenth when it comes to playing. He plays HARD. Hunter is also extremly funny without even trying. I can see him being the class clown. We are looking forward to seeing him grow as he starts school this Fall.

Cade Francis

Cade Francis born October 10, 2012 at 8lbs 8oz. He is such a blessing to us. He is such a good baby. He eats well, sleeps well....just goes with the flow. Easy going and happy. Cade loves being talked to or sung to. He just smiles and coos most of the time. His brother and sister love to hang out with him and play on his mat. Layna sings songs to him and Hunter gets in his face and says "cutie." Our family feels complete since he has arrived. TJ and I are really enjoying Cade, probably because we are much more relaxed since he is our third. We are so excited to see him grow and become more and more interactive with Layna and Hunter. Soon enough he will be running around with them.
